We believe you should always know what data we collect and why. This policy is our commitment to transparency about how Dragon Link developed by VMNS Techno Labs handles your information when you use our mobile application and its companion website at knowledge0022.com. By installing or using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
What information do we not collect?
Before we describe what we do collect, here is what we don't:
- We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar, or location.
- We do not read or transmit the content of your favourites, quiz answers, unlock progress, or any birthdate reading you choose to enter — those stay on your device.
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you based on your in-app behaviour.
What information do we collect?
What follows is the complete list of information the app handles. Each item is limited to a specific purpose described in the next section.
Automatically Collected Information
- Anonymous identifier. The app generates a unique anonymous identifier on the device on first launch. It is not tied to your name, email, or any other personal detail.
- Device language and region. Used to display the app in your preferred language and to deliver localized notifications.
- Advertising identifier. The Google Advertising ID, used solely for measuring how users discover the app. You can reset it or opt out of ad personalization at any time under Settings > Google > Ads on Android.
- Attribution data. Information about how the app was installed (for example, the campaign or referral that led you to the Google Play listing). This is used to understand which marketing channels work and is not used to identify you personally.
- Push notification subscription identifier and timezone. A unique identifier generated by our notifications provider (OneSignal) so that, if you grant notification permission, we can deliver alerts to your device. Your timezone is recorded so notifications arrive at appropriate hours.
Built-in Browser
The app includes a built-in browser used to display this Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the app. The built-in browser does not collect additional data beyond what is described above. Any websites loaded inside it operate under their own privacy practices and may set their own cookies or local storage; you can clear those at any time by clearing the app's data through your device settings.
Daily Lore Reminders
If you enable the optional Daily lore reminder, the app schedules a local notification at the time you choose. This reminder runs entirely on your device — no reminder content is transmitted to or stored on our servers. You can switch it off at any time in Settings → Daily lore reminder inside the app.
Locally Stored App Data
The app stores the following on your device only, never on our servers:
- Your preferences and notification settings
- Codex entries you've favourited and read
- Quiz history and Hall artwork unlocks
- An optional birthdate reading, only if you choose to enter one
You can erase all of this at any time via Settings → "Delete All Data" in the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Support and Bug Reports
The app's Support page lets you send us a message or report a bug. When you submit a support request, you may provide:
- Your name and email address
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment — you can take a photo or video using your device's camera, or choose an existing file (such as a screenshot, image, or document) through your device's file picker
This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and resolve the reported issue. The app itself does not access your camera directly — photo and video capture is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app.
Why do we collect this information?
- To provide and maintain the app's features — codex, quiz, hall, lunar calendar, and any optional birthdate reading.
- To deliver opt-in daily lore reminders at the time you choose.
- To understand, in aggregate, how users discover and use the app so we can improve it.
- To deliver push notifications if you grant notification permission.
- To respond to your support requests when you contact us.
- To prevent abuse and troubleshoot technical issues.
Do we share your data with third parties?
We share the limited data described above only with the service providers we rely on to operate the app. We do not sell or rent your data.
- AppsFlyer — mobile attribution and marketing analytics. Receives the advertising identifier, attribution data, and the app's anonymous identifier. AppsFlyer privacy policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/.
- OneSignal — push notification delivery. Receives the subscription identifier, device language tag, timezone, and standard device telemetry (model, OS version, carrier, app version, country derived from IP). OneSignal privacy policy: https://onesignal.com/privacy_policy.
- Google Play — manages the advertising identifier on your device. Google's advertising policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
The app may contain links (for example, to the Google Play Store listing or a third-party website you visit through the built-in browser). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites — we encourage you to review their policies.
How long do we keep your data?
- The anonymous identifier and all locally stored app data persist on your device until you clear app data, tap "Delete All Data", or uninstall the app.
- Cookies and local storage set by sites loaded in the built-in browser follow standard browser expiration rules and are cleared when you clear the app's data.
- The advertising identifier is managed by Google Play Services and can be reset by you in device settings.
- The push notification subscription identifier is managed by OneSignal and tied to the app's installation; it is removed when you uninstall.
- Support messages and any attachments you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
How is my data protected?
- All network traffic between the app and our servers, and between the app and our third-party providers, is transmitted over HTTPS using standard TLS encryption.
- Locally stored app data is protected by your device's operating-system-level sandboxing — no other app can read it.
- We restrict internal access to support messages to the team members who need to respond to them.
What are my choices?
- Reset or limit advertising tracking. Open Settings > Google > Ads on your Android device to reset the advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.
- Disable push notifications. Revoke notification permission for the app at any time in your device's notification settings.
- Turn off daily lore reminders. Switch them off in Settings → Daily lore reminder in the app.
- Erase all local data. Use Settings → "Delete All Data" in the app, or uninstall the app entirely.
- Request data access or deletion. Contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Is this app safe for children?
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
How will I know if this policy changes?
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will remain visible on this page so you can review what changed.
